You Are Never Alone

Day Thirty

I have met many single adults who are not effectively serving God because they feel that they are alone and loneliness has them in bondage. Likewise I know many married persons who although they have a life-mate, yet they feel so all alone. The key to dealing with loneliness is two fold, first love the person who you are alone with (you) and second realize that in all actuality you are never alone because Christ is in you and you are in Christ!

Many times we find ourselves comparing our gifts, talents and abilities to others and being both intimidated and envious of what they can do. However, be encouraged that your gifts and talents are as valuable and necessary to the fulfillment of God’s plan as anyone in history. You are so valuable that God says you are the apple of His eye.

The only question you must answer after you are saved is, “Am I going to enjoy the journey or struggle along the way and never have joy?”

One of the great weapons of Satan against your identity in Christ is his desire and goal to keep you ignorant of your position and your legal standing over him and his demonic forces. But you must accept the fact that you are who God says you are and not who or what your feelings or the circumstances say you are. You are saved and seated!

You Were Washed...

Day Twenty Six

The way you see yourself is the way you will behave and that behavior will become the habit and the inheritance of your life. If all you remember about yourself is that you were a sinner, a fornicator, an adulterer, a thief, a liar or a robber or busy body…then all you will do is continue to behave in those non-productive ways. But when you accept the fact that you have been washed clean and thus are able to behave in a new way, you will create a new godly environment everywhere you go.

If Satan can intimidate you and cause you to fear him, fear failure, fear success and fear the future you will always be in bondage to low self-esteem and negative thinking. God through your union with Christ has given you love, power and a sound mind so that you can resist fear and reject low self-esteem and negative thinking.

Day Twenty Four

In Christ your identity continues to go from glory to glory and God continues to see you not as you are but as Jesus is. Therefore since Jesus Christ is seen by the Father as the King of kings…you are the kings that Jesus is King over. Think about it – you are a king and priest in the sight of God!.
