I can recall growing up with eight other siblings. In our home, which was poor by any standard, we did not have many material things. However we did have that which money could not buy, love, unity, and joy!  So although we might have lacked some creature comforts we did not lack anything. And as you come to rest in your identity in Christ you must understand the fact that you will never lack that which is essential for your well-being.

One of the most powerful truths about your new identity that you will ever learn is that you are no longer identified with the law and the covenant of the law – but you are identified with the Covenant of Grace.  That alone is reason to shout and sing praises to your Father.

Have you ever traveled to another city in another part of the country or around the world and it seemed as though the people recognized that you were not from there and treated you like a second-class citizen?  Well one thing that you will never have to worry about…because of your union with Christ, you will always be treated with dignity and honor by God and His holy angels who keep watch over you.

Never allow Satan to suggest to you that you do not or that you cannot understand the will of God. Your Father is not hiding His will from you and He has not made it so difficult that you cannot understand it and do it.  He wants you to succeed and to fulfill your calling and destiny.

Wow – what great news, you have been established and anointed by God and therefore you are well able to accomplish great things for His glory.  You see, the work has been done, in Christ, and all the promises of God are “yes and amen.”  Now all you need to do is accept them and begin to live out your life by faith!

You Are A Minister

Day Thirty Two

Never tie your identity to a position, an office or a career. Those are areas of service that God places you in; they are your assignments. They are not your identity. Assignments can change but who you are in Christ will never change! You are a minister, a called out saint of God on assignment in the world to redeem lost mankind.

A good natural father desires his children to know what he has prepared for them; what he has set aside for their inheritance; what are the mysteries of life that they need to understand so that they are not taken captive by situations and circumstances that are dangerous and deadly. Even so, your Heavenly Father wants you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom and what He has planned and what He has in store for you.
